Where ever I was in the world growing up, whether it was Africa or the Philippines or Central America, one thing always remained constant - family summer holidays in California to visit my cousins. It was an annual adventure that I counted down the days for every time.  Vacation to me was happily leaving exotic cultures behind in exchange for familiar faces and a sense of 'home' that can only be brought about by the people that surround you. There were eight of us girl cousins and one boy - each time we reconnected it felt like no time had passed, putting on silly shows and catching up on a year's worth of giggles and secrets.

This extended family session is a celebration of two sister mammas, their tribe of babes, and the inexplicable bond that exists between cousins. How lucky these guys are to have one another so close by.
